A young woman wants to save her brother who needs some sort of transplant so she agrees to take part in a game in the chance to win the money for his operation and more.
The games begin soft, Iris our main character is offered 10,000 dollars to eat meat. She's a vegetarian by the way.
Obviously when the game gets properly going though is when the danger starts and participants can be killed.
The ending was pretty obvious from the start. It was a given we all know what's going to happen. But it's the ride there that's enjoyable plus they add the right amount of tension in to build up to the random little twists throughout and they don't beat around the bush.
Steffen Schlachtenhaufen the writer (Who hasn't really written anything big) and David Guy Leavy who also hasn't been attached to anything spectacular know suspense and atmosphere inside out and some of the actors you do feel genuinely sorry for as parts do seem quite realistic. Other parts a bit silly.
Jeffrey Combs was brilliant as the sadistic Shepard Lambrick, our host for the evening.
And it was a nice surprise to see Crab Man from 'My Name Is Earl' as one of the party guests.
There are a few faces you will recognise from random films/tv shows in the past.
I'm now going to spoil a tiny bit so stop reading if you don't want spoilers at all, Just move on to the next paragraph.
The old woman dies.
The bit that annoyed the me the most was her dying. Why?
You could see the so called actress still breathing.
In all I will have to give the film a 6.5 out of 10.
I enjoyed the film and most people would but it could have had much more to go for it if it was that little bit longer.
Definitely had potential.
