Ken Marino and Patrick Warburton both put in great performances as employee and employer, also bringing one of the best scenes in the whole movie.
Of course the rest of the cast are excellent too, the characters you don't seem to like at first somehow grow on you and I'm sure it's just because of the acting.
So, if you haven't heard of the film 'Bad Milo' yet, I don't know where you have been hiding.
Maybe up someones butt?
The story is all about Ken Marino's character getting stressed out from day to day, and finding out that if he gets that stressed, he erm, gives birth so to speak a little demonic creature he eventually calls Milo.
Milo then goes and kills whoever he is stressed out about, but of course Ken has guilty feelings and tries to stop Milo from killing.
Every now and then feeling like a homage to Henenlotter films like 'Basket Case' and 'Brain Damage', we get a quite homely feel to it, it sits in a comfortable chair in our hearts. But it also is missing something that the Henenlotter films have.
I have no idea what, as the comedy and horror was all there, but something didn't feel the same.
Possibly the story needed more depth, but then this wasn't a Henenlotter film anyway so that's not the point.
The main parts of hilarity were when Ken was trying to bond with Milo, and I just feel this needed to be fleshed out a bit further too.
But it was a good film either way, and Jen loved it.
Definitely one to recommend, especially if you like Ken Marino or Patrick Warburton.
I miss both 'Reaper' and 'The Tick'.
I have to give this film a 7/10 as it could have been much more, even though a pretty God damn good movie in the first place.
